In the month of July, Lake Wedowee is a fantasy getaway. With July 4th being one of the most celebrated holidays, excitement fills the air as we gather with family and friends for cookouts, fun and games. As the day ends, get ready to settle down and watch the fireworks show on the lake. It will be a beautiful display of lights and an experience you won’t soon forget. To add to this fun-filled day, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office will sponsor the annual rodeo, which will be held on Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th. The gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and the entertainment will begin at 8:00 p.m. Tickets will be $10.00 each with children under three admitted free. There will be lots of fun and excitement that you will not want to miss!!! If that is not enough excitement, Lake Wedowee will be holding the Third Annual Lake Wedowee Ski Tournament at Chimney Cove on July 11th beginning at 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be several events and a lot of competition going on. Admission is free, so come on down to the beautiful Chimney Cove at Lake Wedowee and join in on the fun. Also, Lake Wedowee holds Worship on the Water, which starts at 9 a.m. at the Lakeside Marina. This event will be happening each Sunday through Labor Day.
You will be guaranteed to have a great time, so don't let all the fun and fellowship pass you by. We look forward to seeing you on the lake. Happy July!!!!!
With the very competitive mortgage rates being around 5%, and some even lower, this gives a great incentive to buy. The rumors of lenders not lending aren’t at all true anymore. Lenders are wishing to see higher credit score than in the past; however money IS flowing again! I will be happy to recommend a lender if you would like to prequalify before looking for your dream property.
We have the largest inventory ever for you to choose from. The only drawback for you, the purchaser, is deciding which property is the right one for your family.
With this higher number of properties on the market, the price competition comes into play. Although listing prices haven’t fallen much at all, many owners are more inclined to accept a lower offer than in recent years.
When comparing Lake Wedowee to other lakes in the southeast I have had very few purchasers decide to purchase a property on another lake. There are many reasons to come to Lake Wedowee. The biggest reason of late is Lake Wedowee wasn’t and isn’t currently near as affected by the drought as other southeastern lakes. We are currently above our normal pool for this time of year and the Alabama Power company is predicting a normal full pool for us this summer as well. A few other reasons Lake Wedowee is chosen over other lakes are: our crystal clear water clarity, low traffic, the pristine shoreline (which 72% is owned by the Alabama Power company), and many recreation opportunities
All in all now is the time to buy on Lake Wedowee. Don’t let this window of opportunity pass you by. If you are or have been looking for lake property gave Ron Young a call and let me help get you on Lake Wedowee this Spring!!!
This year’s rodeo will be held on Friday, July 4th and Saturday, July 5th. The gates will be opened at 5:00P.M. and the entertainment will begin at 8:00P.M. Tickets will be $10.00 each with children under three admitted free. There will be lots of fun and excitement that you will not want to miss!!!
